These trips run out of Sebastian Inlet, Florida targeting deep reef structures where trophy American Red Snapper live.

Red Snapper season is extremely short each year which means these trip book quickly. When the season opens, anglers have a rare chance to harvest one of the most prized bottom fish in the SE Atlantic Ocean.

Captain Scott has been fishing offshore waters for more than 30 years, targeting deep ledges, wrecks and reef structure that consistently hold quality snapper. You will be catching these prized table fair fish with live baits, dead baits and/ or slow pitch jigs in depths of 90-300 feet. We will be stopping near shore to target live baits on the way out to the snapper grounds. Full Live -wells mean full fish boxes on the way home. We have specific sabiki rods and also bait casters for catching croakers and grunts.

Once we locate a productive reef, anglers can experience fast action bottom fishing, ofter hooking multiple fish in a short time.

Bottom fishing for triggerfish, groupers (red, gag and black grouper) , snappers ( American Red Snapper, mangrove, lane, yellowtail, vermillion and mutton snappers) also included on this trip along with amberjack and Amico jacks.

We also catch cobia, African pompano, king mackerel, mahi and possible tuna on these trips

If you desire to make it a longer trip ask when booking as we could do a combo red snapper/ bottom fishing trip the trolling for more pelagic species like tuna, mahi, wahoo and sailfish. We can do a ARS/ Trolling combo 10 or 12 hours upgrades.

We are looking forward to an amazing upcoming Federal Red Snapper season as these hard fighting, great eating fish are one of the captain’s favorite to target. For the upcoming 2026 we are switching to our new Piscifun Alijoz 300 and 400 bait caster fishing reel paired with slow pitch rods to be light weight but super strong to battle the massive red snapper from the depths.

We also have a huge selection of slow pitch metal jigs to try your skills at fooling these aggressive slabs of fillets for a cooler ride back home.
